FAQ

Question Image What should I do when its an emergency?
Answer Image Patients should contact the practice immediately. We will always endeavour to see a patient in pain on the same day. There is a message regarding dental emergencies on the practice answer machine. If you have a dental emergency, for example, increased swelling, uncontrolled bleeding or trauma to the teeth and jaws outside practice hours you should call 0845 600 3245 for emergency dental assessment. If the practice is closed during our usual working hours, patients must call Firstcall on 0870 241 8451.

Question Image Im not sure if I can afford to have cosmetic dental work done
Answer Image Extensive quality dental work can be expensive, however with a carefully thought out plan for your teeth, financing is a way to make a big difference to your quality of life. Question Image Theres a big gap between my two front teeth. Can that be changed?
Answer Image Yes. Veneers can close gaps (diastema) and help create the smile you desire. Bonded resins generally require one visit, while porcelain veneering takes two. Veneers, along with good oral hygiene and a healthy lifestyle, are effective ways to enhance a smile. We can explain the various techniques and help determine which is the best suited to your specific needs.
